Bettina Rheims, Puoi trovare la felicità
Dal 24 Settembre fino al 23 Novembre FORMA Centro Internazionale di Fotografia di Milano ospita la mostra di Bettina Rheims, Puoi trovare la felicità, 94 immagini articolate in sezioni tematiche che raccontano l’opera della Rheims dal 1991, con Chambre close, al 2004 con Shanghai.
Puoi trovare la felicità si articola in otto differenti serie, ognuna che si intreccia con la precedente e insegue la successiva: la pubblicità, la tavola, il cinema, il romanzo, l’erotismo, la chambre close, il sogno e made in Japan. Nella sala bianca inoltre sarà esposta Olga una serie inedita di nove fotografie di grande formato presentate in prima mondiale a FORMA. Una galleria di perfezione femminile, di donne più o meno conosciute dal grande pubblico, di modelle statuarie, attrici o cantanti, immerse in scenari quotidiani, in pose lascive.
Monica Bellucci in versione Salomé che versa sangue nel piatto, Jennifer Jean Leigh in piedi, in pigiama, con una bambola in mano in una allegoria della follia, Sharon Stone che sgranocchia diamanti come Eva il frutto proibito. Le sue immagini sono un’accurata costruzione intellettuale e visiva frutto di un’attenta regia.

I have a huge project and a tight deadline you guys, I promise to be more regular here once my project is done!
So here is a photo I took about 10 days ago… For the first time I felt really annoyed that I do not have any studio lighting, as it was so hard to capture the movement of the fabric while managing to keep it relatively sharp and as bright as possible. Someday I want to redo this…
Total montage, as the original photo was taken at home, and then the sunset is a picture I took in Bulgaria over a year ago, and the fence or whatever you call that (what is the word for it actually?) was a picture from the Botanical Garden in Chicago.

I also put up there a few other photos from that afternoon – of me, my sis and mom, and the garden… I felt so nostalgic… I really want to go back there this year and spend more time taking pictures of that place. And I want to see my mom and sis soooooon!
